Malala’s story is an inspiration. The struggles that she had to face because she advocated for girls’ education is jarring! On the other hand, her humanity and courage to forgive the Taliban who shot her and advocate for the education of the Taliban’s daughters and sons leaves me speechless! And the story of how she became to be, is a story that’s worth reading.
As for the book, I felt detached from the protagonist in certain instances due to an odd mix of facts and personal reflections. But mostly it’s a good read!
